In the new film "Top Gun: Maverick", which has been announced and postponed several times due to the coronavirus, he must p?ss on his spectacular flying skills to a new generation of pilots, but this time in the F/A-18E.
The large box, typical of Revell, contains these two models. Apart from the decoration, they are reissues of Italeri models.
The F-14D Tomcat is made of five light gray and one clear parts with 111 parts. Cast and engraving are clean and clear. The cockpit consists of nine parts. The seat belts are stamped and there are gauge stickers. There are three pieces for the nose and cockpit section, plus the upper and lower fuselage halves and the air intake ducts. The movable wings can be rotated synchronously using a gear. The intake and exhaust nozzles have a realistic depth that is emphasized by the corresponding engine parts. The rear panel is removable, while all other control surfaces are cast.

The F/A-18 has five light gray and two clear wings with 91 parts. Cast and engraving are clean and clear. The cockpit consists of seven parts. The seat belts are stamped and there are gauge stickers. As is common with these types of aircraft, the fuselage is divided into an upper and lower half. Since the wings are part of these parts, there are smooth transitions that mirror the shape of the F-18 without a pitch. The intake and exhaust nozzles have a realistic depth that is emphasized by the corresponding engine parts. The rear panel is removable, while all other control surfaces are cast. All have sharp back edges. Landing gear doors are included for the closed version. If you want to show an extended undercarriage, you need to cut it along the parting lines.

The set includes six aqua paints, glue and a brush.
