Educational game, Headu, Ko memo, Improve memory
Gender: M, W
Age: 7 years old
The game is based on the "Memory Palace" technique, which consists in memorizing elements by associating them with familiar spaces. In this game, there are 40 cards spread across 8 different rooms of the house. Each map has out-of-context objects placed in the given environment. Each room has 5 points of interest, for example the cellar has a staircase, a barrel, a wine rack, a cauldron and a mattress (see the key on the last page of the brochure). How to Play The object of the game is to memorize the "out of context" objects on each tile in sequence. The player is facilitated when he associates the objects to be remembered with the different rooms and places of interest in the house. Challenge mode. Best played by 4 or 5, but up to 8 people can play. Each player takes a colored board card. The image cards are shuffled and dealt evenly to each player. The remaining cards are put aside. Players place their cards face down in a horizontal line in front of them. The youngest player starts by turning over the cards in their row and carefully observing the objects "out of context" for 30 seconds. He/she then turns the cards face down again and begins to say the sequence aloud, naming the objects from left to right and then turns the corresponding card face up for confirmation, and so on, until the end of the row of cards. Each correctly named object carries one point. At the first mistake, the player stops and it is the turn of the next player, clockwise, who will play the same way. At the end of the round, the game continues until one of the players reaches 20 points (always wait until the end of the round so that all players have made the same number of attempts). The first to reach 20 points is the winner of the challenge! In the event of a tie between two or more contenders, a playoff round is played by dealing 8 cards to each until a winner is announced. Each player marks and gradually updates the points on their map using the erasable marker. Knockout mode. Arrange the cards in the center of the table in piles of 8 cards, from one to five rows, depending on the desired difficulty. All players watch streaks for 30 seconds. At the end, the youngest player turns the cards face down and begins saying the sequence, naming the object on each card and then turning over the card for evidence. On the first mistake, the exposed tiles are turned face down again and the second player starts. The first player to remember all the objects wins.
