Darth Vader used this prototype, the basis for the terrifyingly effective TIE Interceptor, in the Battle of Yavin. Vader′s TIE Advanced is armed with heavy twin blaster cannons but lacks life support systems. Both Darth Vader and Kylo Ren use this TIE fighter, and the Star Wars starship is available here as a detailed model.
